After that, all eligible candidates can apply for the Farmer Investor Pathway and use the online system to submit their applications.

The steps below will help you understand the process of applying for the Farmer Investor Pathway Stream as part of PNP business immigration Canada:
Step 1: Do some research about farm business in Manitoba
The first step requires you to do some homework and research about the province of Manitoba and its farming business.
Make sure you fulfill the essential eligibility criteria of the program to continue the application process. While doing so, make sure that you must mention your practical skills related to farming, technical knowledge, and experience in the farming industry. You must show how your specific farming skills will benefit Manitoba’s farm production industry.
Your farm operating skills must complement and align with the province’s farming operations regarding the utilization of technology and scale—equipment handling and operational skills, production output, etc.
Step 2: Complete the Interest Guidelines and Farm Business Concept Forms
In this step, do thorough research on your business and explore the province to gather some knowledge related to its farming industry, production potential, and consumer base.
Based on your research and assessment of the eligibility criteria, you may complete a Farm Business Concept Form.
Step 3: Submit your Interest Guidelines and Farm Business Concept forms to the MPNP
Once you are done with the farm business research and determine the eligibility criteria for the Farmer Investor Pathway, you may submit the following forms to complete the process:
You will receive an email notifying you whether you meet the criteria. Your business concept will not be reviewed if you cannot meet the eligibility criteria.
Step 4: Submit your application to the MPNP
If you meet the criteria, you will receive a Letter of Advice Apply (LAA) via email and other instructions regarding your application. Your LAA will request you to provide information related to your net worth and additional financial information. A designated third-party advisor will do the task for you.
Carefully read and follow the Instructions and Document Checklist mentioned in the LAA. You must submit your documents and net worth verification report within 120 days of receiving your LAA.
Step 5: Application Evaluation
Step 6: Apply for Permanent Residency Visa
If you receive the nomination, you can submit an official permanent residency application to IRCC.
Step 7: Set up your farm business in Manitoba
It’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor by establishing your farm business in rural Manitoba. Your products should be consistent with the province’s current farm industry. Provide your new contact information to the MPNP within 30 days of your landing in Canada.
