Malta: The new Maltese Exceptional Investor Naturalization (MEIN) program will replace the previous Malta Citizenship by Investment. The new program will permit Malta Citizenship to applicants who are willing to Invest and donate in the country. This program can be availed by high Net-Worth Individuals, Entrepreneurs, and Investors for a smooth transition to EU Citizenship. Malta is one of the few countries in Europe that provide quick Citizenship to Foreign Nationals and their families.
As per the new guidelines, a total of 400 primary applicants will be granted Maltese Passport every year and a cap of 1,500 passports during the entire course of this new program.
As per the new pathway guidelines, all the selected applicants are given residence in Malta, which will lead to Maltese Citizenship by Naturalization in either of two ways:

Step #2 – Apply for Malta residency application, Under MEIN Malta Citizenship Pathway
Step #3- Due diligence process and application verification
Step #4 – Apply for the Citizenship application for the period of either 12 months or 36 months
Step #5 – Fulfil the Investment, Donation, and Property requirements
Step #6 – Oath of Allegiance and will be issued Certificate of Naturalization and Maltese Passport
