Soon after storming to power the new UK premier, Boris Johnson pledged a major re-scripting of the nation’s immigration system, as he set out his idea for what he termed” a new golden age for Britain”.
In his first speech as the premier, he, reportedly, told the British House of Commons that it was crucial that the country’s immigration system underwent a major revamp.
As it taking a dig at other politicians before him, the leader of the Conservative party stated that since long many of them had promised the British people an Australian style points-based system, SkillSelect, even as, in reality, he plans to deliver on those pledges.

The new British Premier stated that the country’s Migration Advisory Committee would carry-out an appraisal of the immigration system. And, it will be the first step in a radical rewriting of the nation’s immigration system.
